FAQ

This document provides answers to common questions about the Play.claims platform, covering topics from general use to security and support.

General Platform Questions

What is Play.claims?

Play.claims is a platform that allows users to create their own cryptocurrency tokens and trade tokens created by others. It is designed for simplicity and does not require any coding knowledge.

Is the platform free to use?

Creating an account is free. However, creating a token costs approximately $4.50 in SOL to cover blockchain fees, and each trade incurs a 2.0% fee.

Do I need coding skills?

No. The platform is designed for all users, regardless of technical skill. Creating a token involves filling out a form, uploading an image, and clicking a button.

Is Play.claims safe?

The platform is non-custodial, meaning you always control your own funds. However, all cryptocurrency trading is inherently risky, and you should only invest what you can afford to lose.

Can I use the platform on a mobile device?

Yes, the website is accessible through mobile browsers. For the best performance, we recommend using up-to-date versions of Chrome or Safari.

Token Creation

How long does it take to create a token?

The entire process typically takes between 30 and 60 seconds.

What is the cost to create a token?

It costs approximately $4.50 USD, paid in SOL (currently 0.03 SOL), to cover the necessary blockchain transaction fees.

Can I edit a token after it has been created?

No. All token details (name, symbol, description, logo) are permanently stored on the blockchain and cannot be changed after creation.

Is there a limit to how many tokens I can create?

There is no limit to the number of tokens you can create, but each new token requires payment of the creation fee.

What happens if the token creation transaction fails?

If the transaction fails, you will not be charged the creation fee (though a very small network fee of ~$0.01 may still be consumed). You can simply attempt the process again.

Can I delete a token I created?

No. Once deployed to the blockchain, a token is a permanent record and cannot be deleted.

Trading

Where are tokens traded?

Tokens are initially traded exclusively on the Play.claims platform. Once a token reaches a market capitalization of $12,750, it "graduates" and is automatically listed on a larger external exchange (Meteora AMM).

How is the price determined?

The platform uses an automated pricing mechanism (a bonding curve). The price increases as more people buy and decreases as more people sell. This system is not subject to manual manipulation.

What are the trading fees?

The total fee for each trade is 2.0%, composed of a 0.8% creator fee, a 0.8% partner fee (Play.claims), a 0.4% protocol fee (Meteora), and a small network fee (~$0.01).

Is it possible to lose money?

Yes. All cryptocurrency investments are high-risk. Prices can be extremely volatile. You should never invest more than you are willing to lose.

What does it mean for a token to "graduate"?

Graduation occurs when a token's market value reaches $12,750. At this point, it is automatically moved to a larger trading venue (Meteora AMM) to support higher trading volumes.

Creator Earnings

How do I earn money as a creator?

You earn a 0.8% fee on all trading volume for a token you created. For instance, if your token has $10,000 in trading volume, you will earn $80.

Do I earn fees indefinitely?

You earn fees as long as the token is trading on the Play.claims platform. After the token graduates to an external exchange, you no longer accrue these specific creator fees.

How often can I claim my earnings?

You can claim your earnings at any time, provided you have a minimum balance of $0.01.

Is there a fee for claiming earnings?

Yes, a standard Solana network fee of approximately $0.01 is required to process the claim transaction.

How long does it take to receive claimed earnings?

The claimed funds are sent directly to your wallet and typically arrive within 10-30 seconds.

Wallets & Security

Can Play.claims access my funds?

No. The platform is non-custodial, which means you have sole control over your wallet and your funds.

What happens if someone gets my private key?

Anyone with your private key can gain full access to your wallet and steal your funds. Never share your private key.

Is my personal information safe?

Yes. We only collect your public Twitter/X username and profile picture for platform functionality. We do not sell or share your data.

Can I use an external wallet like Phantom or Solflare?

Not directly. The platform uses a built-in wallet for simplicity. However, you can export your private key from the built-in wallet and import it into any compatible external wallet.
