Understanding Play Area
After creating a token, it is important to understand the information and metrics displayed on its dedicated page. This guide explains each component of the token page.
Token Page Overview
A token's page is divided into several key sections:
Token Information: Displays the logo, name, symbol, and description you provided during creation.
Key Statistics: Shows real-time data including the current price, total market capitalization, and trading volume over the last 1-hour and 24-hour periods.
Graduation Progress Bar: A visual indicator of the token's market cap growth toward the "graduation" threshold.
Creator Information: Displays the creator's Twitter/X profile picture and username, with a link to their portfolio.
Market Capitalization (Market Cap)
Market cap represents the total current value of all of a token's circulating supply. It is a primary indicator of a token's size and market presence.
Calculation Example:
Total Supply: 1,000,000,000 tokens
Current Price: $0.00001 per token
Market Cap: $10,000
A higher market cap generally signifies a more valuable token and is often correlated with higher trading activity.
The Graduation Progress Bar
The progress bar tracks a token's growth from its launch until it reaches a market cap of $12,750.
0% Progress: The token has just been launched and has a small market cap.
50% Progress: The token is gaining traction as more users acquire it.
100% Progress (Graduated): The token has reached the maximum market cap threshold on the platform.
Upon graduation, the token is automatically migrated to a larger, external trading venue (Meteora AMM). This transition exposes the token to a wider market of potential buyers and sellers.
Platform Pricing Mechanism
Play.claims utilizes an automated and fair pricing system based on a bonding curve.
Price Increases: As more users buy a token, its price automatically increases.
Price Decreases: As more users sell a token, its price automatically decreases.
This system is designed to be secure and resistant to manipulation, as prices are determined algorithmically based on supply and demand dynamics within the platform.
Example of Price Evolution:
Initial Stage: $0.00000100
Growth Stage (e.g., after 100 buyers): $0.00001000
Established Stage (e.g., after 1,000 buyers): $0.00010000
